Buying guide: Who is it suitable for?

The Whale Storage Basket is ideal for families who want to quickly store toys, accessories, or laundry in the nursery and are looking for a sturdy, easy-care solution. The canvas quality with PE inner coating is practical for everyday use because the inside can be wiped clean easily. With 31 x 31 x 40 cm and a capacity of 38 l, the basket offers plenty of space without dominating shelves or the area next to the changing table. The friendly whale design blends into nursery-style environments and can stand freely or be placed in suitable compartments. Thanks to its volume, it can be used flexibly for different contents – from cuddly toys to spare clothes. If you use several baskets, you can sort by areas and establish order with clear categories.

What to look for in storage baskets

• Material & workmanship: Canvas with a sturdy feel is suitable for everyday use; inner coatings make cleaning easier.
• Size & volume: Check dimensions and capacity so the basket fits in shelves or niches and offers enough storage space.
• Cleaning & care: Smooth, wipe-clean inner surfaces save time in everyday life.
• Placement: Baskets work best where items accumulate – e.g. next to the bed, at the changing area, or on a shelf.
• Sorting logic: Several baskets help to visibly separate categories (e.g. building blocks, cuddly toys, laundry).

Ideas for use

• As a toy collector for building blocks, cars, or figures next to the play mat.
