We are a true family business right here from Hamburg, and have been for 65 years. Yes, you read that right, that long already! With lots of attention to detail, we design stylish children's toys and little helpers for everyday life for you and your little one. Our products are perfect for little adventurers from 0 to 36 months.
Now you're probably wondering who we are? We are Christopher, Ulrike and Florian. Little fun fact on the side: Christopher and Florian are not only business partners, but also brothers. And Ulrike and Florian? The two of them are not only a team in business, but also in real life – because they are married. Together we run our traditional company bieco, which our parents and parents-in-law built up with passion and dedication over 30 years.

Our mission
Do you know the feeling when your own home is suddenly taken over by a colorful chaos of children's toys? That's exactly what we experienced when we became parents. Bright, loud colors everywhere and us in the middle of it, looking for beautiful toys and practical accessories that we parents like too and that still fit the budget. Not that easy, is it?
That's when the thought struck us: Why don't we do it ourselves? High-quality, stylish and still affordable. Toys and accessories that not only encourage play, but also look good in any home. Modern design and subtle colors.
It was a small challenge to get our parents and parents-in-law excited about this vision for bieco, but together we made it! With the change of generation, we reinvented ourselves and created a range that is not only educationally valuable, but also a real eye-catcher.
We have been on this new path since 2020 and are super proud of it. And you know what? It looks like we are not the only ones who love our new direction. See for yourself!

our story
1958
Laying the foundation
In 1958, the company is founded in Hamburg under the name Bébé Confort. In 1975 it is taken over by the company Bienengräber and given a new name. The KG BIECO Spielwaren GmbH & Co. is born.
1975 to 1999
the licensing years
For over 20 years, bieco imports internationally known licensed toys, such as Monchichi, Hello Kitty and Nintendo.
1999 to 2015
Becoming a producer
Since the 90s, bieco has focused on manufacturing baby products and creating collections in its own design.
2015
Change of generation
In 2015, the change of generation is initiated and Christopher becomes the owner of the company.
since 2018
bieco reinvents itself
Since 2018, bieco has been completely handed over to the next generation. Christopher, Florian and Ulrike are driving bieco's strategic realignment and digital transformation.
