Moin from Hamburg!

Do you know that feeling when your home is suddenly taken over by a colourful chaos of children's toys? That's exactly what we experienced when we became parents. Bright, garish colours everywhere, and us in the middle of it all, looking for beautiful toys and practical accessories that we parents like too and that still fit our budget. Not that easy, is it?

That's when we thought: Why don't we make them ourselves? High-quality, stylish and still affordable. Toys and accessories that not only encourage play, but also look good in any home. Modern design and muted colours.

It was a small challenge to get our (in-law) parents excited about this vision for bieco, but together we made it! 66 years of tradition, and with the change of generations we reinvented ourselves and created a range that is not only educationally valuable, but also a real eye-catcher.

We have been on this new path since 2020 and are super proud of it. And you know what? It looks like we're not the only ones who love our new direction. See for yourself!

For a beautiful home

Forget the garish, brightly coloured jumble! Inspired by the cool Scandi style, our toys not only provide plenty of fun for little ones, but also score points with their decorative value. In short, they are exactly what we would want in our own four walls too. The understated design blends harmoniously into your modern interior. So you can safely put off tidying up a little longer. Our motto: Less chaos, more fun and learning!

Buying guide: Who is it suitable for?

Stick Animal Deer Ella is suitable for children from 24 months who enjoy role play and like to move around. With a length of 88 cm, it offers enough support to recreate imaginative riding adventures in the nursery or hallway. The combination of wood and soft textiles appeals to families who prefer sturdy materials with a pleasant feel. The compact design with 88 x 24 x 21 cm makes it easy to store away after playtime. Parents who value easy care benefit from simple cleaning with a damp cloth. When using it, make sure there is enough space and a level environment so the child can control the play well. Since use is recommended only under supervision, the stick animal is especially suitable for households where an adult accompanies the play.

What to look out for with stick animals

  • Material choice: Wood and polyester offer stability and a pleasant feel. Check whether the materials suit the intended use and your preferences.
  • Size & handling: Consider the product dimensions (here 88 x 24 x 21 cm) so the stick animal fits the child and the available play area.
  • Cleaning: Look for easy-care surfaces. Here, gentle wiping with a damp cloth is sufficient.
  • Safety: Observe the age recommendation from 24 months and use the toy only under adult supervision.
  • Play environment: A clear, level area helps make play controlled and enjoyable.

Ideas for use

  • Ride through the living room as a deer friend and invent a little forest story.
  • Set up an obstacle course with cushions or mark tape on the floor and carefully lead the deer through it.
  • Role swap: Today the child is the trail guide and explains the route to the deer.
  • Set up a short “deer break” station where the animal is “tied up” to rest and then continues.
  • Organize a riding relay with start and finish together with siblings or friends.
  • Act out an imaginary farm and visit and “care for” the deer there.
  • Guess the animal sounds: Who makes which sound and when is the deer allowed to set off?
  • Story circle: Each person adds one sentence to the deer adventure story.
