Moin from Hamburg!

Do you know that feeling when your home is suddenly taken over by a colourful chaos of children's toys? That's exactly what we experienced when we became parents. Bright, garish colours everywhere, and us in the middle of it all, looking for beautiful toys and practical accessories that we parents like too and that still fit our budget. Not that easy, is it?

That's when we thought: Why don't we make them ourselves? High-quality, stylish and still affordable. Toys and accessories that not only encourage play, but also look good in any home. Modern design and muted colours.

It was a small challenge to get our (in-law) parents excited about this vision for bieco, but together we made it! 66 years of tradition, and with the change of generations we reinvented ourselves and created a range that is not only educationally valuable, but also a real eye-catcher.

We have been on this new path since 2020 and are super proud of it. And you know what? It looks like we're not the only ones who love our new direction. See for yourself!

For a beautiful home

Forget the garish, brightly coloured jumble! Inspired by the cool Scandi style, our toys not only provide plenty of fun for little ones, but also score points with their decorative value. In short, they are exactly what we would want in our own four walls too. The understated design blends harmoniously into your modern interior. So you can safely put off tidying up a little longer. Our motto: Less chaos, more fun and learning!

Buying guide: Who is it suitable for?

The pull-along dinos are ideal for families looking for a sturdy wooden toy for first steps and free play. The toy is especially exciting for toddlers from around their first year who are starting to train their balance and enjoy pulling things along. Thanks to its handy size, the pull-along animal is easy to grasp and can be guided safely without being overwhelming. Wood suits many home styles and feels high-quality, which also makes it attractive as a gift. If you value easy care, you’ll benefit from being able to clean it with a damp cloth and mild soap. Make sure there is enough space to pull it while playing and that an adult keeps an eye on things. This makes the toy versatile for everyday use—whether at home in the hallway, in the children’s room, or as a little companion on short trips.

What to look for in pull-along and push toys

  • Material: Wood feels pleasant and looks high-quality. Look for a smooth surface.
  • Size & handling: The dimensions should suit small hands and the available play area.
  • Stability: The toy should roll steadily when pulled and not tip over easily.
  • String/length: The cord should be easy to grip and free of knots or loops.
  • Care: Easy cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap is practical for everyday use.
  • Supervision: For toddlers, use under supervision is important.

Ideas for use / play ideas

  • Hallway obstacle course: Set up small turns and obstacles with cushions and pull the dinos along.
  • Name the colors: Say the toy’s colors out loud while playing and repeat them.
  • Change the pace: Pull slowly and quickly and observe the differences together.
  • Build a parking spot: Build a “dino parking spot” from building blocks and park carefully.
  • Imitate animal sounds: Make up and imitate matching dino sounds while pulling.
  • Stop & go: Stop on a signal, then pull again to practice reaction and attention.
  • Treasure hunt: Define small targets in the room and pull the dinos there one after another.
  • Switch roles: Sometimes the child pulls, sometimes the adult—agree on rules together.
