Moin from Hamburg!

Do you know that feeling when your home is suddenly taken over by a colourful chaos of children's toys? That's exactly what we experienced when we became parents. Bright, garish colours everywhere, and us in the middle of it all, looking for beautiful toys and practical accessories that we parents like too and that still fit our budget. Not that easy, is it?

That's when we thought: Why don't we make them ourselves? High-quality, stylish and still affordable. Toys and accessories that not only encourage play, but also look good in any home. Modern design and muted colours.

It was a small challenge to get our (in-law) parents excited about this vision for bieco, but together we made it! 66 years of tradition, and with the change of generations we reinvented ourselves and created a range that is not only educationally valuable, but also a real eye-catcher.

We have been on this new path since 2020 and are super proud of it. And you know what? It looks like we're not the only ones who love our new direction. See for yourself!

For a beautiful home

Forget the garish, brightly coloured jumble! Inspired by the cool Scandi style, our toys not only provide plenty of fun for little ones, but also score points with their decorative value. In short, they are exactly what we would want in our own four walls too. The understated design blends harmoniously into your modern interior. So you can safely put off tidying up a little longer. Our motto: Less chaos, more fun and learning!

More info about the bouncy cow

Buying guide: Who is it suitable for?

The bouncy cow is aimed at families looking for a movement-friendly toy for toddlers. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it fits easily into everyday life, for example in the nursery or play area. Children from 24 months will find a fun companion here for active play with easy handling. Parents who value clear care instructions benefit from the simple cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap. Thanks to the included air pump, the bouncy animal is ready to use quickly after unpacking. If you’re looking for a versatile toy as a gift idea, the cow look is a popular theme for role play and active games. When using it, always make sure there is enough space and that an adult supervises. This keeps play enjoyable and manageable – even during spontaneous bouncing sessions.

What you should look out for with bouncy animals

  • Material: Look for sturdy, easy-care material like vinyl and check for visible damage before playing.
  • Size and fit: The dimensions should suit the child and the planned play area so they can get on and off steadily.
  • Inflation and pressure: Inflate so the bouncy animal keeps its shape without becoming overly hard; regular visual checks.
  • Surface: Choose a level, non-slip surface free of sharp objects to prevent slipping.
  • Supervision: Especially for toddlers, only allow use under adult supervision.
  • Care: After playing, wipe off dirt with a mild cleaner and store dry.

Ideas for use / play ideas

  • Mark out a bouncing course in the room and guide the cow through the stations one by one.
  • Farm role play: Feed and brush the cow and let it "trot" over a soft mat.
  • Color and shape hunt: Find white and black objects in the room and bring them to the cow.
  • Counting game: Count bouncing laps together and take a short break every fifth lap.
  • Guess the animal sounds: A family member makes noises, the child guesses and bounces to the matching answer.
  • Balance practice: Holding on firmly, slowly get on and off and include short standing pauses.
  • Story time: Tell a little cow story and act out matching movements.
  • Change of pace: Alternate slow and faster bouncing phases while keeping a safe rhythm.
  • Shape route: Lay out cushions as a circle, square, triangle and head to them one after another.
  • Parking game: Define a fixed "parking spot" to which the cow is brought back at the end.

Care & safety

  • Care: Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then wipe dry.
  • Notes on use: Age recommendation from 24 months. Caution: use only under adult supervision.
  • Safety & conformity: Depending on the product, relevant safety tests and standards (e.g. EN 71 for toys) are used and documented. We can provide details on product-specific tests on request.
