Moin from Hamburg!

Do you know that feeling when your home is suddenly taken over by a colourful chaos of children's toys? That's exactly what we experienced when we became parents. Bright, garish colours everywhere, and us in the middle of it all, looking for beautiful toys and practical accessories that we parents like too and that still fit our budget. Not that easy, is it?

That's when we thought: Why don't we make them ourselves? High-quality, stylish and still affordable. Toys and accessories that not only encourage play, but also look good in any home. Modern design and muted colours.

It was a small challenge to get our (in-law) parents excited about this vision for bieco, but together we made it! 66 years of tradition, and with the change of generations we reinvented ourselves and created a range that is not only educationally valuable, but also a real eye-catcher.

We have been on this new path since 2020 and are super proud of it. And you know what? It looks like we're not the only ones who love our new direction. See for yourself!

For a beautiful home

Forget the garish, brightly coloured jumble! Inspired by the cool Scandi style, our toys not only provide plenty of fun for little ones, but also score points with their decorative value. In short, they are exactly what we would want in our own four walls too. The understated design blends harmoniously into your modern interior. So you can safely put off tidying up a little longer. Our motto: Less chaos, more fun and learning!

Buying guide: Who is it suitable for?

The Bib 5-piece set slate is ideal for families who need several absorbent bibs to rotate through in everyday life. Thanks to the set size, a fresh bib is quickly at hand—whether for the first bottles, during feeding, or later when trying to eat independently. The compact size of approx. 21 x 29 cm provides good coverage of babies’ and toddlers’ upper bodies in a high chair and is also easy to take along when out and about. With machine washing at 30 °C, care is straightforward and suitable for daily use. The material combination of cotton and polyester with a PEVA backing is designed for practical use during mealtimes. Parents who value easy cleaning, coordinated colors, and good value for money in a set are making a solid choice here.

What to look for in bibs

  • Material & feel: Look for a comfortable surface around the neck area and a practical backing for everyday mealtimes.
  • Size & coverage: Measurements such as approx. 21 x 29 cm help you assess how well the chest and tummy are protected from spills.
  • Cleaning: Machine-washable bibs (e.g. 30 °C) make everyday life easier and save time.
  • Fastening & handling: An easy-to-use closure is important, especially when things need to be quick.
  • Intended use: Consider whether you mainly use bibs for bottles, purée, or finger food, and choose the right version accordingly.
  • Stock in the set: Several bibs in a set reduce laundry cycles and ensure you have spares for on the go.

Ideas for use

  • When bottle-feeding or breastfeeding as protection from small milk drips.
  • For starting solids in the high chair, when spoon practice can still miss the mark.
  • For finger food and baby-led weaning to protect clothing during the exploration phase.
  • On the go in the stroller or car as quick protection for snacks.
  • For drooling during growth phases so tops stay dry longer.
  • Keep as a spare set at daycare or at the grandparents’.
  • For small crafting and painting activities as additional protection for short sessions.
  • As a small gift for a birth or christening in a practical multipack.

Care & safety

Care: Machine wash at 30 °C as specified. Drying and further care can be adjusted to your own needs.

Safety: Age recommendation from 0 months. Caution: use only under adult supervision.
