Moin from Hamburg!

Do you know that feeling when your home is suddenly taken over by a colourful chaos of children's toys? That's exactly what we experienced when we became parents. Bright, garish colours everywhere, and us in the middle of it all, looking for beautiful toys and practical accessories that we parents like too and that still fit our budget. Not that easy, is it?

That's when we thought: Why don't we make them ourselves? High-quality, stylish and still affordable. Toys and accessories that not only encourage play, but also look good in any home. Modern design and muted colours.

It was a small challenge to get our (in-law) parents excited about this vision for bieco, but together we made it! 66 years of tradition, and with the change of generations we reinvented ourselves and created a range that is not only educationally valuable, but also a real eye-catcher.

We have been on this new path since 2020 and are super proud of it. And you know what? It looks like we're not the only ones who love our new direction. See for yourself!

For a beautiful home

Forget the garish, brightly coloured jumble! Inspired by the cool Scandi style, our toys not only provide plenty of fun for little ones, but also score points with their decorative value. In short, they are exactly what we would want in our own four walls too. The understated design blends harmoniously into your modern interior. So you can safely put off tidying up a little longer. Our motto: Less chaos, more fun and learning!

Buying guide: Who is it suitable for?

The Bear Wall Hook is ideal for anyone who wants to combine practical hanging options with a friendly, subtle look in the nursery, hallway, or bathroom. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it looks great on a door, coat rack, or wall without taking up much space. Families who value natural materials will benefit from the combination of wood (MDF) and a sturdy metal hook. The hook is a charming choice for keeping lightweight textiles, bags, or decorative elements within easy reach. As a small gift for a birth, christening, or birthday, the Bear Wall Hook fits many gift ideas for the nursery. If you prefer a cohesive look in the room, you can mount several hooks at the same height or combine different motifs to create individual coat-hanging solutions. When mounting, always make sure you have a suitable surface and the right fixing materials so the hook holds securely.

What to look for in wall hooks

  • Material & finish: Look for sturdy materials and child-friendly finishes. Wood (MDF) with water-based paints is common for living spaces.
  • Dimensions & space requirements: Check the size in relation to where you plan to use it; 9 x 12 x 4 cm can be used as a guide.
  • Mounting & surface: Depending on the wall type (e.g., plaster, drywall, wood), different fixing materials may be required. Follow the mounting instructions.
  • Load & use: Plan to use the hook for lightweight textiles or accessories. If no load capacity is specified, test carefully and do not overload.
  • Cleaning & care: Smooth surfaces can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap.

Ideas for use

  • Use in the nursery for lightweight jackets, hats, or gym bags.
  • As a decorative spot for favorite accessories such as small backpacks or scarves.
  • Next to the door as a fixed place for the daycare bag or coloring pad.
  • In the bathroom for washcloths or a small guest towel.
  • Combine several hooks in a row for a personalized kids’ coat rack.
  • Use as a holder for decorative hangers, fairy lights, or a name sign.
  • In the play corner, hang up bags with building blocks or puzzles.

Care & safety

Care: Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Then wipe dry and do not soak in water. Do not use harsh cleaners or abrasive agents.

Safety & conformity: Depending on the product, relevant safety tests and standards (e.g., EN 71 for toys) are used and documented. We can provide details on product-specific tests upon request.
