Moin from Hamburg!

Do you know that feeling when your home is suddenly taken over by a colourful chaos of children's toys? That's exactly what we experienced when we became parents. Bright, garish colours everywhere, and us in the middle of it all, looking for beautiful toys and practical accessories that we parents like too and that still fit our budget. Not that easy, is it?

That's when we thought: Why don't we make them ourselves? High-quality, stylish and still affordable. Toys and accessories that not only encourage play, but also look good in any home. Modern design and muted colours.

It was a small challenge to get our (in-law) parents excited about this vision for bieco, but together we made it! 66 years of tradition, and with the change of generations we reinvented ourselves and created a range that is not only educationally valuable, but also a real eye-catcher.

We have been on this new path since 2020 and are super proud of it. And you know what? It looks like we're not the only ones who love our new direction. See for yourself!

For a beautiful home

Forget the garish, brightly coloured jumble! Inspired by the cool Scandi style, our toys not only provide plenty of fun for little ones, but also score points with their decorative value. In short, they are exactly what we would want in our own four walls too. The understated design blends harmoniously into your modern interior. So you can safely put off tidying up a little longer. Our motto: Less chaos, more fun and learning!

Buying guide: Who is it suitable for?

The Badger wall hook is ideal for families who want practical organization and a friendly design in the children’s room or hallway. Made from wood (MDF) with water-based paints, it blends into natural interior styles and can keep light accessories such as hats, pouches, or accessories within easy reach at child height. In the entryway, it helps keep small items visible, while in the children’s room it complements decorative elements. Thanks to its compact size of 12,5 x 12 x 4 cm, it fits well on narrow wall areas or next to doors. If you’d like to add small, themed accents, you can combine the hook with other decorative elements to create a harmonious row. The single-item delivery makes it easy to expand existing coat hook solutions selectively. If you’re looking for a subtle motif, clear care instructions, and a calm color tone, this hook is a suitable option.

What to look for when choosing wall hooks

  • Material choice: Look for sturdy base materials such as wood and metal, as well as water-based color coatings if you prefer a natural finish.
  • Size and placement: Check the dimensions in advance (here 12,5 x 12 x 4 cm) and whether the hook height suits use by children or adults.
  • Mounting and surface: Always match the fastening method to the specific wall surface and use suitable wall plugs/screws.
  • Care: For long-lasting use, wiping with a damp cloth and mild soap is usually sufficient.
  • Safety: Install hooks so there is no risk of impact at eye level and ensure the mounting is secure for the load.

Ideas for use

  • In the children’s room, hang hats, scarves, or small pouches within easy reach at child height.

  • Install several hooks in a row as a child-friendly mini coat rack.
  • Keep favorite headphones or light accessories neatly together.
  • Hang a seasonal decorative element such as a small wreath.
  • Keep fabric pouches for spare pacifiers or burp cloths handy at the changing area.
  • In the hallway, collect key lanyards or reflective tags.
  • In the play area, sort lightweight toy bags to keep things tidy.

Care & safety

  • Care: Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
