Kinderzimmer & Deko

Practical storage and loving details help make the nursery suitable for everyday life. In this collection you’ll find – depending on the range – décor and organizing helpers such as foldable storage boxes, lidded crates, picture frames and imprint kits. This keeps important items neatly stored and preserves memories like hand or footprint imprints. You’ll find information on shipping and returns below. Use products under adult supervision.

How do I choose the right storage and décor?

• Size planning:Check the dimensions of your shelf compartments. Many foldable boxes are based on approx. 32 x 32 x 32 cm; taller crates (approx. 36 x 36 x 51 cm) offer more volume. Always compare with the product specifications.
• Material & care:For textile boxes (outer: polyester in linen look, felt; inner: polyester, cardboard – depending on the product details), wiping with a damp cloth and air-drying is common. For wooden frames: clean with a damp cloth and mild soap (as stated in the product details, if specified).
• Open or with a lid?Open boxes make it easy to grab items quickly in the play area. Lids are ideal for things that should be stored dust-protected or kept out of reach.
• Visibility:Motifs such as deer, hedgehog, lion or whale help children find items again and learn to tidy up – playfully and without strict rules.

Everyday organization: typical use cases

• Play area:Lightweight, open boxes for frequently used building blocks or books. Lids for sets used less often.
• Changing area:Taller crates (depending on product dimensions) for diaper supplies; always store care products out of children’s reach. General tips on preventing household accidents can be found atgesund.bund.de.
• Preserving memories:Picture frames and imprint kits provide space for photos and plaster casts. Position frames securely and stable, away from play zones.

Understanding seals & notes correctly

• FSC (for products with the corresponding note):The FSC system stands for requirements for responsible forest management and chain-of-custody certification. You can find an explanation of what FSC means atFSC Deutschland. Only if stated in the product details does it involve FSC-certified materials.
• Textile seals in general:For textiles, independent testing for harmful substances can provide guidance. TheVerbraucherzentrale offers general tips for a low-toxin home. Always check the information for the specific product.
