Cancellation policy for consumers in distance contracts

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods or the last of the goods. You may only return unused goods to us, and you bear the cost of returning the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (bieco GmbH, Heidenkampsweg 44, 20097 Hamburg, Telephone: +49 (0) 40 82211900, Email: support@bieco.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees because of this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary to examine their condition, properties and functioning.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer. Likewise, there is no right of withdrawal for contracts for the supply of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiry date would be exceeded quickly.

Special notes on the premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

For contracts for the supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, your right of withdrawal expires prematurely if the seal of the goods has been removed after delivery. For contracts for the supply of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package, your right of withdrawal expires prematurely if the seal has been removed after delivery.

Withdrawal conditions

You bear the costs of your return. Please remember to put sufficient postage on your parcel. Please also note that up to 14 days may pass between the time of withdrawal and the refund of the purchase price. If no prior withdrawal has been made, the refund period begins from the time your return has arrived with us.

After we have received your return, we will inform you by email about the credit to be issued. We will refund the purchase price using the payment method you chose at the time of purchase, i.e. either credit card, PayPal account or bank account. If you paid by bank transfer, please let us know your bank details for the refund of the purchase price. The time it takes for the refund to be processed depends on the respective credit card, but it normally takes place within two credit card statements.

If the recipient of the items stated in the order is not the same as the buyer of the goods, the amount charged will always be refunded to the buyer and card or account holder. The refund is made in the same currency as the purchase. Any losses due to currency fluctuations will not be refunded.

For all returns of items you purchased with a voucher, a new voucher will be issued to you.

IMPORTANT: Please avoid damage and soiling. Please send the goods back to us, if possible in the original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure sufficient protection against transport damage with suitable packaging, in order to avoid claims for damages due to damage caused by inadequate packaging. Please note that the arrangements mentioned in the preceding paragraph are not a prerequisite for the valid exercise of the right of withdrawal.
